Operations Technology Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the reliability and performance of business operations systems, the full-time Operations Technology Engineer will build order flow monitoring infrastructure, manage vendor partnerships, and ensure peak readiness for sales events while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain visibility of order flow to identify anomalies and propose solutions
• Serve as the primary technical counterpart for ERP and WMS vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and system improvements
• Own technical preparation for major sales events, including volume stress testing and risk mitigation

Required qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in systems integration, technical operations, or platform engineering, preferably in DTC or retail
• Proficiency with Shopify Plus, including admin API and webhooks
• Strong technical fluency in SQL, data queries, and root cause diagnosis
• Ability to operate independently without a direct technical manager
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to leverage AI tools for improved outcomes
