Operations & Technology Senior Manager

Job Summary

Driving operational excellence, the full-time salaried Operations & Technology Senior Manager will lead the outside counsel management program, overseeing spend governance, e-billing operations, and budget oversight while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end outside counsel lifecycle, including performance evaluation and offboarding
• Negotiate rates with outside counsel firms and enforce billing guidelines to ensure cost discipline
• Implement technology strategies and AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in legal operations, corporate technology operations, or related business management functions
• Proven ability to negotiate with law firm partners and manage multi-million dollar legal spend
• Experience with e-billing processes and tools, such as Legal Tracker
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Practical understanding of AI tools and automation platforms, along with project management experience
