Ophthalmic Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to conduct remote subjective refractions for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts subjective remote refractions and ensures precision in data collection
• Guides patients through the exam process and provides accurate data to Doctors of Optometry
• Participates in feedback sessions and achieves required exam productivity goals

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications may be considered
• At least 1+ years of experience performing subjective refractions or in a similar role
• Experience in remote healthcare settings or telemedicine is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and video conferencing tools
• Ability to work every Saturday as a mandatory requirement
