Ophthalmology Director

Job Summary

To improve operational performance and financial outcomes for ophthalmology practices, the fully remote Ophthalmology Director will collaborate with physician owners and executive leaders, focusing on growth strategy, clinic operations, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership teams to develop growth plans and support day-to-day operations for ophthalmology practices and ASCs
• Conduct financial analysis of practice performance and implement operational improvements to enhance patient flow and resource coordination
• Lead workforce planning and organizational development initiatives in partnership with corporate and practice leaders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or specialty physician practice management
• Experience with independently owned ophthalmology practices or integrated platforms preferred
• Strong understanding of ophthalmology practice financial structures and clinic operations
• Proven ability to analyze practice financial performance and operational metrics
• Effective communication skills with physician owners and executive leaders
