Ophthalmology Medical Monitor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ophthalmology Medical Monitor/SME (Project-Based) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical input into study documents and plans
• Lead safety activities and serve as the primary medical reviewer for adverse event reports
• Develop and maintain medical monitoring strategies and participate in safety review meetings

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) required
• Specialty in Ophthalmology or comparable experience
• 5 or more years of clinical and/or research experience required
• Relevant experience in safety physician roles or medical monitoring in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of current regulatory practices and safety reporting regulations
