Optical Business Advisor

Job Summary

To support member businesses in the optical industry, the full-time remote Optical Business Advisor will provide strategic guidance, analyze data for actionable insights, and recommend tailored solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise member businesses on frame board allocation, eyewear assortment, and selling strategies to improve the patient experience
• Analyze business performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and present findings to inform strategic decision-making
• Deliver training sessions and develop resources that address unique business needs and enhance operational processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in optometry, business development, or optical retail management
• Familiarity with optical products and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Strong analytical skills to assess business operations and identify profit opportunities
• Excellent presentation skills to facilitate discussions and training sessions
