Job Summary

To support various AI projects, the part-time Optical Engineer Freelance Trainer will design original optics problems, ensuring they are computationally intensive and reflective of real physics research workflows, while working remotely on a project-based basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non-trivial reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers

Required qualifications

• Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
• Experience with numerical simulation methods
• Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
