Job Summary
To support various AI projects, the part-time Optical Engineer Freelance Trainer will design original optics problems, ensuring they are computationally intensive and reflective of real physics research workflows, while working remotely on a project-based basis.
Key responsibilities
- Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non-trivial reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers
Required qualifications
- Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
- 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
- Experience with numerical simulation methods
- Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
