Optimization Developer
Job Summary
To enhance and optimize existing models, the remote Optimization Developer will work on a contract basis, utilizing advanced operations research techniques and optimization software.
Key responsibilities
- Rewrite and enhance existing optimization models to improve performance
- Utilize Cplex and other commercial optimization software for decision analysis and simulation
- Apply advanced large-scale optimization methods, including nonlinear and mixed-integer optimization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in optimization and operations research
- 4+ years of experience with decision analysis, simulation, and stochastic modeling
- Proficiency in Cplex, C++, and Linux
- Strong theoretical background in advanced optimization methods
