Optometry Billing Account Representative

Job Summary

To support Optometry providers across the United States, the full-time remote RCM Account Representative will manage day-to-day insurance operations, analyze insurance receivables, and provide exceptional client support via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer support and monitor accounts to identify revenue trends and solutions
• Resolve account concerns, work on clearinghouse rejections, and manage denials for maximum reimbursement
• Collaborate with sales for onboarding new customers and train clients on RCM tools and expectations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in customer service and medical & vision insurance billing in an optometry setting
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and Optometry CPT codes
• Ability to work a full 8-hour day within specified hours and work from home with minimal supervision
• Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private home office location
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office suite of products
