Oracle Apps Database Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting mission-critical Oracle Applications, the contract Oracle Apps Database Engineer will work remotely to enhance OCI, Cloud Fusion, and EBS environments while managing support requests and operational tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Support existing Oracle EBS production environments and newly implemented Oracle Cloud infrastructure
• Assist with ongoing OCI initiatives and manage service tickets
• Coordinate with customers and offshore support teams to ensure smooth operations

Required qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Applications DBA focused on OCI and Oracle EBS
• Extensive experience in OCI and Oracle EBS 12.2.9, including patching and upgrades
• Solid background in Unix (AIX) system administration and scripting
• Strong proficiency with Oracle Database 19c in production environments
• Experience with Cloud Fusion Financials is preferred
