Oracle Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle database environments for production, test, and development systems
• Monitor database performance and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Support database security, compliance with RMF and STIGs, and collaborate with development teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise environments
• Strong experience with Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery
• Familiarity with RMF, DoD STIGs, and cybersecurity compliance requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (or higher) background investigation
