Oracle Database Administrator

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Oracle Database Administrator will perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases, while managing backup and recovery procedures and optimizing database performance in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Oracle database administration tasks including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
• Manage database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
• Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and troubleshoot performance issues

Required qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of database administration tasks, backup/restore, security, performance tuning, and PL/SQL
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset
