Oracle Engineer
Job Summary
To support healthcare analytics initiatives, the contract Oracle Engineer will design, implement, and manage Oracle GoldenGate Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines for real-time data replication from enterprise source systems to operational data stores, working remotely from Tampa, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate CDC pipelines for near real-time data replication from OLTP databases to ODS landing zones
- Monitor and maintain the health of GoldenGate replication processes, including lag monitoring and proactive alerting
- Lead root cause analysis for replication incidents and manage GoldenGate upgrades and lifecycle across environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate in production environments
- Deep expertise in log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) and Oracle redo log management
- Strong background in Oracle DBA or data engineering, including schema design and SQL proficiency
- Experience managing large-scale replication environments with high transaction volumes
