Oracle Health Architect

Job Summary

To support advanced analytics and interoperability in healthcare, the part-time Oracle Health Architect will design scalable data architecture, lead the mapping of Oracle Health data to the OMOP Common Data Model, and ensure data quality and governance in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture leveraging Oracle Health data platforms, including Athena
• Lead the end-to-end mapping of Oracle Health data to the OMOP CDM and develop ETL pipelines for data transformation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and maintain documentation of mappings and data lineage

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Athena data structures and standardized terminologies (e.g., SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm)
• Strong background in mapping healthcare data to the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM)
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks in healthcare data environments
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance initiatives, including HIPAA
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions
