Oracle HVR Engineer
Job Summary
To support data integration efforts, the full-time contract Oracle HVR Engineer will design and configure HVR setups, monitor replication performance, and troubleshoot database issues while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and configure HVR hub, remote agent locations, and capture/integrate jobs for Oracle and heterogeneous databases
- Monitor daily replication performance and resolve latency, network, or schema mismatch alerts
- Troubleshoot CDC capture/integration errors and optimize SQL performance
Required qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration and HVR replication
- Proven expertise in data integration and performance tuning
- Experience managing HVR software upgrades and database migration projects
- Ability to collaborate with database administrators and data architects on DDL changes and security policies
- Strong troubleshooting skills for database performance and data integrity issues
