Oracle SQL/PLSQL Software Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting an industry leader in financial services, the Oracle SQL/PLSQL Software Engineer will engage in a long-term contract remote role, responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, contributing to code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of software solutions aligned with strategic program goals
• Enhance engineering practices in areas such as ATDD and CI/CD
• Participate in product quality efforts, including test case development and regression testing automation

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning, and ETL/batch processes
• Expertise in writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, data analysis, and data modeling
• Experience with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) and automated testing for database code
• Knowledge of mid-tier technologies such as Java and messaging technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools in an Agile software delivery environment
