Oregon Certified Coding Auditor

Job Summary

Focused on ensuring accurate coding and claim submission, the full-time Oregon Certified Coding Auditor will perform documentation and coding reviews across various specialties while working remotely within the KP authorized states.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct documentation and coding reviews within assigned work queues to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Utilize coding tools and maintain knowledge of coding standards to assist in accurate code assignment
• Escalate identified trends and issues through appropriate channels and engage in project work as assigned

Required qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting
• At least one (1) year of professional coding experience
• Possession of a relevant certification such as Certified Professional Coder or Certified Coding Specialist
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical terminology
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
