Job Summary
Focused on reviewing documentation and coding, the full-time Oregon Certified Coding Auditor will perform coding reviews, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and assist in complex coding issues while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform documentation and coding reviews across various specialties as assigned
- Maintain knowledge of coding standards and escalate identified trends and issues
- Assist with complex coding issues and project work as requested
Required qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a healthcare setting
- Minimum one (1) year of professional coding experience
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Technician, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical terminology
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
