Job Summary
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
- Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate care transitions
- Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members, providing support and reporting on patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and in good standing peer certification in Oregon or Washington State
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and 2 years of personal recovery experience
- Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
- High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, with a focus on patient confidentiality
- Ability to connect patients with local recovery resources and support services
