Oregon Chapter Director

Job Summary

Leading the Oregon Chapter's initiatives, the full-time salaried Chapter Director will manage fundraising efforts, staff and volunteer recruitment, and strategic planning while working in a hybrid environment, primarily based in Portland, OR.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the Chapter's fundraising efforts, including relationship building with high net worth individuals and tracking progress against annual goals
• Manages staff performance and volunteer recruitment, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and fostering leadership development
• Facilitates the development of strategic, programmatic, and financial goals in collaboration with the Executive Committee and other stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Proven fundraising experience with strong donor relations skills and a history of generating new revenue streams
• Demonstrated ability in budget development and financial management, including experience with complex budgets
• Experience in strategic planning and assessment, with a track record of implementing effective plans and building consensus
• Commitment to understanding systems of oppression and evolving personal practices to promote equity and inclusion
• Experience in grassroots organizing and coalition building, with a focus on motivating volunteer teams
