Job Summary
Leading the Oregon Chapter's initiatives, the full-time salaried Chapter Director will manage fundraising efforts, staff and volunteer recruitment, and strategic planning while working in a hybrid environment, primarily based in Portland, OR.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the Chapter's fundraising efforts, including relationship building with high net worth individuals and tracking progress against annual goals
- Manages staff performance and volunteer recruitment, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and fostering leadership development
- Facilitates the development of strategic, programmatic, and financial goals in collaboration with the Executive Committee and other stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Proven fundraising experience with strong donor relations skills and a history of generating new revenue streams
- Demonstrated ability in budget development and financial management, including experience with complex budgets
- Experience in strategic planning and assessment, with a track record of implementing effective plans and building consensus
- Commitment to understanding systems of oppression and evolving personal practices to promote equity and inclusion
- Experience in grassroots organizing and coalition building, with a focus on motivating volunteer teams
