Job Summary

A company is looking for a Court-Certified and Court-Registered Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-scheduled telephonic interpreting services for the state of Oregon's Office of Administrative Hearings
• Ensure accurate communication between state government representatives and non-English speakers
• Maintain compliance with applicable ethics and standards during interpretation sessions

Required Qualifications

• Court-certified or Court-registered interpreter credentials
• Minimum one year of experience in telephonic interpretation within a legal/courts setting
• Strong understanding of legal hearing procedures
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Full fluency in English and a native language
