Job Summary

To enhance its leave administration program for a multi-state workforce, the fully remote Leave of Absence Specialist will manage various employee leave programs, provide guidance on leave processes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other protected leaves
  • Serve as the primary resource for employees and managers regarding leave eligibility and compliance requirements
  • Manage complex leave cases, ensuring accurate tracking of certifications and communications
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years of leave of absence administration experience in a multi-state organization
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs, with experience in managing complex cases
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience using HRIS or payroll systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality
