Job Summary

To support the Employee Benefits division, the remote full-time Oregon Licensed Actuary will prepare financial statements, analyze business results, and present insights to senior leadership while influencing product strategy for disability, group life, and other benefits.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements under various reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with actuarial and business leaders to assess profitability and risk drivers
  • Identify key trends and improve processes through a continuous improvement mindset
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; Fellowship progress or FSA strongly preferred
  • 5-7 years of actuarial experience, preferably in employee benefits
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or Python, and advanced Excel skills
