Job Summary
Driving financial reporting initiatives, the full-time remote Oregon Licensed Actuary will manage valuation, reserve analytics, and earnings analysis while collaborating with various teams to enhance reporting processes and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own execution and enhancement of reporting, valuation, earnings analysis, FP&A, and hedging, communicating results to senior management
- Design and implement reporting support for functions such as VM22, reinsurance, and business integration
- Analyze GAAP, statutory, and management reporting results, including reserves, earnings, and capital movements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field preferred
- ASA certification required; FSA preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Individual Annuities space
- Modeling experience including change management and internal controls required
- Experience with GGY AXIS and Python preferred
