Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary to support its mission in providing affordable workers' compensation coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop loss and loss adjustment expense reserves and prepare financial statements
  • Conduct trend analysis and provide support for pricing, underwriting guidelines, and financial forecasts
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and monitor external developments affecting operations and strategies
Required Qualifications
  • Five or more years of actuarial experience, including at least one year in workers' compensation
  • A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field
  • Membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society and progress towards continued membership
  • Experience in data analysis and collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered
