Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Actuary to support its mission in providing affordable workers' compensation coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop loss and loss adjustment expense reserves and prepare financial statements
- Conduct trend analysis and provide support for pricing, underwriting guidelines, and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and monitor external developments affecting operations and strategies
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of actuarial experience, including at least one year in workers' compensation
- A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field
- Membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society and progress towards continued membership
- Experience in data analysis and collaboration with internal and external partners
- Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered
