Job Summary
To support complex actuarial projects, the full-time Oregon Licensed Associate Actuary will perform advanced actuarial work remotely, communicate findings to stakeholders, and guide junior analysts while managing project ownership from planning to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Perform complex actuarial analyses and communicate results to peers and leadership
- Manage projects from planning through execution, anticipating risks and dependencies
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
- Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) upon hire
- 5 years of healthcare actuarial or analytics experience
- Experience with SQL or another programming language for data analysis
