Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Staff Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and drafting legal documents
• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to clients while maintaining strong relationships
• Utilize technology to streamline legal processes and participate in organizational improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in Oregon and in good standing; admission to Washington State is beneficial
• General knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation law
• Proficient in e-discovery and case management systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from start to finish under supervision
