Oregon Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance policies and communicate legal standards for coverage disputes to clients
• Conduct legal research and draft coverage opinions, briefs, memos, and pleadings
• Represent insurer clients in court and depositions while collaborating with partners and clients

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Oregon and/or Washington; additional bar admissions in Idaho or Montana are a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurer or policyholder coverage practice
• Experience with depositions and mediations; extended coverage opinion experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
