Job Summary

A company is looking for an Attorney in the AMG Transactional Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and counsel to various business stakeholders to ensure compliant retirement plan designs and strategies
• Produce quality contractual language that accurately reflects stakeholder intent
• Act as a strategic business partner by understanding legislation and regulatory developments, communicating updates to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership required
• Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience or equivalent education and experience
• Understanding of retirement plans industry and regulatory structure (ERISA, Tax Code, securities law, state insurance law preferred)
• Experience in group annuity/insurance product development is a plus
• Experience working closely with internal clients as a strategic partner
