Oregon Licensed Attorney

Job Summary

Representing SAIF and its policyholders at hearings and claims-related proceedings, the full-time Oregon Licensed Attorney will develop strategies for case management, mediate claims, and provide legal advice while working in a hybrid environment based out of Salem or Portland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategies to represent SAIF and its insureds at hearings and claims-related proceedings
• Mediate, negotiate, and settle claims while providing legal advice to SAIF personnel and insureds
• Attend hearings, conduct trials, and take depositions of witnesses

Required qualifications

• Law degree with a license to practice law in Oregon or the ability to obtain it via reciprocity within 6 months of hire
