Job Summary
To support quality care for members, the full-time Oregon Licensed Behavioral Health Coordinator will evaluate, authorize, and manage behavioral health services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Promotes positive treatment outcomes by coordinating clinically appropriate services and referrals for Behavioral Health Case Management
- Evaluates treatment services for medical necessity and ensures timely authorization determinations
- Provides clinical consultation and support to Health Coaches and Nurses, while maintaining positive relationships with providers
Required qualifications:
- Active Oregon license as a behavioral health practitioner
- At least three years of recent experience in behavioral health clinical settings
- Proven ability to navigate treatment options and the authorization process
- Demonstrated experience in providing customer service to members and care providers
- Familiarity with multiple computer applications and ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm
