Job Summary
Supporting the Knight Cancer Institute's analytics needs, the full-time salaried Oregon Licensed Business Intelligence Analyst will develop BI solutions, translate clinical requirements into actionable metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance cancer care delivery, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop BI solutions using tools such as Epic, Business Objects, and Power BI, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational goals
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather and document requirements for new or modified BI solutions, facilitating discussions on metric definitions
- Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts, ensuring adherence to project plans and documentation standards
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field with four years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree with six years of experience; or an Associate's degree with seven years of experience; or eight years of relevant experience
- Epic Clarity/Caboodle Certifications to be obtained within six months of hire
- Minimum three years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or BI Developer
- Demonstrated experience with report and dashboard development in Business Objects or equivalent tools
- Experience with relational databases and utilizing star schema data stores for report development
