Oregon Licensed Chargemaster Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Chargemaster Coordinator responsible for overseeing and maintaining the chargemaster and clinic fee schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and workflows of the chargemaster team
• Maintain the chargemaster/fee schedule by incorporating new charges and coding updates
• Oversee the annual review of the chargemaster/fee schedule and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum one year in a chargemaster role
• Knowledge of hospital/clinic revenue cycle processes and healthcare insurance billing guidelines
• Relevant certifications such as CPC, CPC-H, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or applicable Epic certifications
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and CPT4
