Job Summary
To support the timely administration of life insurance claims, the contract Claim and Benefits Processor will review documentation, evaluate benefit eligibility, and communicate with customers while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and evaluate life insurance claim documentation to determine benefit eligibility in accordance with policy provisions
- Identify discrepancies and obtain additional documentation to complete claim reviews within required timeframes
- Serve as a primary point of contact for beneficiaries and policyholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two years of relevant professional experience, preferably in financial services or a related industry
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to customer service
