Oregon Licensed Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to manage lower-level workers' compensation claims under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive claims, confirm policy coverage, and acknowledge claims
• Determine the validity and compensability of claims and establish reserves
• Manage non-complex medical only claims and communicate claim status to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
• State Certification as an Experienced Examiner
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oregon and/or Washington required
