Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist 3.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare providers to identify and document principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures
• Conducts concurrent and retrospective reviews of medical records and documents findings in the EHR tracking system
• Provides education to providers on documentation practices and serves as a mentor to co-workers

Required Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN License
• CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) or CDIP (Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner)
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent CDIS experience
• As required by licensure for RN; BSN preferred
• Proficient use of EPIC and 3M 360 Encompass software programs preferred
