Oregon Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing psychiatric division, the contracted Oregon Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist will lead clinical training and quality initiatives while providing high-efficiency outpatient care remotely, dedicating approximately 10 hours per week to leadership and 30 hours to direct client services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hiring and talent vetting for psychiatric and advanced practice nursing candidates
• Monitor clinical documentation and performance standards within the psychiatric network
• Deliver high-quality psychiatric evaluations and medication management via telehealth

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) specializing in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Oregon or eligibility to obtain it
• Active DEA registration and access to Prescription Monitoring Program (PDMP)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health care using evidence-based practices
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. state for contracting
