Oregon Licensed Contracts Counsel

Job Summary

To support healthcare contracting needs, the full-time Oregon Licensed Contracts Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of healthcare contracts while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, with the possibility of remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare contracts, including those related to mergers and acquisitions
• Provide strategic guidance on enterprise-wide contracting practices and collaborate with legal and operational leaders
• Maintain current knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations affecting contracts and the contracting process

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Ability to obtain full or House Counsel licensure in Oregon within 12 months of employment
• Minimum of 3 years of contract drafting and negotiation experience in the healthcare industry
