Job Summary
Providing empathetic telephonic support, the full-time Oregon Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Beaverton, OR.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate emotional support and crisis intervention via phone
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, providing resources and safety planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Oregon residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space while working remotely
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
