Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oregon Washington Coastal Office Scientific & Technical Support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze scientific data to evaluate environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats
  • Write ESA Biological Opinions and MSA responses for action agencies regarding listed species and habitats
  • Provide technical assistance and feedback to action agencies on biological assessments and consultation processes


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with four years of experience, or Master's degree with two years of relevant experience in aquatic biology or related field
  • Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements
  • Experience with ESA section 7 and section 10 regulations
  • Experience assessing impacts of human activities on marine species and habitats
  • Experience working with tribal governments is preferred
