Job Summary
Providing support to families involved with Child Welfare, the full-time Oregon Licensed Family Care Specialist will manage a small caseload in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties, focusing on skill building, parent coaching, and connecting families to community resources while attending team meetings and training sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a small caseload of families, providing skill building and parent coaching
- Connect families to community resources to address safety threats and concerns
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, and provide updates to ODHS on family progress
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 2 years of relevant experience, with additional education potentially substituting for experience
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
- Ability to work irregular days and/or hours
- Must reside in one of the counties being served (Marion, Polk, or Yamhill)
