Providing support to families involved with Child Welfare, the full-time Oregon Licensed Family Care Specialist will manage a small caseload in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties, focusing on skill building, parent coaching, and connecting families to community resources while attending team meetings and training sessions.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a small caseload of families, providing skill building and parent coaching
  • Connect families to community resources to address safety threats and concerns
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions, and provide updates to ODHS on family progress
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 2 years of relevant experience, with additional education potentially substituting for experience
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
  • Ability to work irregular days and/or hours
  • Must reside in one of the counties being served (Marion, Polk, or Yamhill)
