Job Summary

To support the General Education curriculum, the part-time Oregon Licensed Geography Educator will teach an undergraduate Physical Geography course online, focusing on the analysis of the physical environment, while engaging students through active learning and maintaining course materials in a learning management system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality online educational experience in collaboration with program faculty
• Develop and maintain an engaging LMS course shell that includes discussion boards and timely feedback
• Promote an inclusive learning environment that recognizes and values diversity among students

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree in Geography or a related field
• Experience in college teaching, particularly online education
• Demonstrated teaching experience in physical geography courses
• Commitment to serving underserved student populations
• Successful completion of a criminal and credential background check
