Job Summary
A company is looking for a Geographic Information System (GIS) Professional Scientist to support various projects in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide GIS support for natural resource and energy project data analysis
- Create routing evaluation models and prepare analyses for transmission routes
- Perform geospatial data management and prepare figures and maps using ArcGIS Pro
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, GIS, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional GIS experience
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and geodatabase management
- Experience with GIS-based routing evaluations for renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of SQL databases and experience collecting GPS field data
