Job Summary
To support legal proceedings, the part-time Oregon Licensed Legal Interpreter will provide interpretation services remotely, ensuring accurate communication in court settings.
Key responsibilities
- Provide onsite, over-the-phone, and video relay interpretation services for legal proceedings
- Ensure accurate and clear communication between parties involved in legal matters
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in legal interpretation
Required qualifications
- Must be a Court-Certified or Court-Registered Interpreter in the state of Oregon
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- At least two professional references confirming experience as a legal/courts interpreter
- Willingness to undergo required criminal history background checks
- Proficiency in interpreting from and to English in relevant languages
