Oregon Licensed Medicaid Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) program, the full-time Oregon Licensed Medicaid Claims Analyst will review, process, and reconcile Medicaid claims remotely, ensuring compliance and timely reimbursement while serving as a liaison between transportation providers and state Medicaid offices.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process NEMT claims in accordance with Medicaid policies and program guidelines
• Perform billing and coding for NEMT claims using appropriate HCPCS/CPT codes and verify member eligibility
• Identify and resolve claim errors and discrepancies while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations

Required qualifications

• Two years of experience in Medicaid claims processing, billing, or healthcare reimbursement
• Knowledge of Medicaid billing, HCPCS/CPT coding, and claims submission requirements
• Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working in transportation claims strongly preferred
• Proficiency in claims management systems, billing software, and Microsoft Excel
