Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Consultant Reviewer On-Call specializing in Psychiatry for Adolescence.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply clinical judgment and evidence-based medicine to make timely decisions on clinical peer reviews
• Interact with attending physicians regarding potential decertification and related matters
• Provide timely subject matter expertise and support to clinical reviewers, case managers, and consultants

Required Qualifications

• Active, current, valid, and unrestricted M.D. or D.O license in Oregon or ability to obtain one
• Board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Psychiatry - Adolescence
• At least 7 years of medical practice experience
• Competency to render clinical opinions as determined by the National Medical Director or designee
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite
