Job Summary

Leading a team of professionals, the full-time Nuclear Mechanical Equipment Manager will manage technical work related to NSSS appurtenance and components, providing mentorship and support while working remotely with occasional travel to Oregon or Houston, TX.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of engineering deliverables and technical audits
  • Provide technical and advisory assistance to projects and develop company technical standards
  • Evaluate team performance, conduct coaching, and develop training materials for team members
Required qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Engineering; professional engineer license and advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • At least eight years of progressively responsible engineering experience, with lead or managerial experience preferred
  • Understanding of engineering concepts and principles for NSSS appurtenance design
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating design interfaces
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
