Job Summary

A company is looking for an OB/GYN Professional Fee Coder (Coding Specialist 2).

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation for OB/GYN encounters and assign accurate coding
• Ensure compliance with CMS, payer rules, and specialty standards while validating billing processes
• Serve as a resource for coding questions and participate in education sessions to enhance team knowledge

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of coding experience with ICD-10-CM and CPT
• Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA
• Active membership with AAPC or AHIMA
• Ability to pass an internal coding assessment
