Job Summary
To support the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program, the full-time Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Assistant Professor will teach 12 semester credits primarily online, coordinate fieldwork experiences, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and may travel to campus for faculty-led fieldwork experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and teach fieldwork-related courses and oversee curriculum design in alignment with accreditation standards
- Coordinate Level I and Level II fieldwork experiences, ensuring compliance with ACOTE standards and effective communication with fieldwork educators
- Engage in scholarship, service, and professional development, maintaining memberships in relevant professional organizations
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution (OTD, PhD, EdD, etc.) and a degree from a US accredited occupational therapy program
- Oregon occupational therapist license effective by start date and at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Experience as a fieldwork educator or proof of fieldwork educator training
- Prior teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting
- Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills and proficiency with learning management systems
