Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Data Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Accession and abstract data on cases diagnosed with or treated for reportable neoplasms
• Gather information for the Oregon State Cancer Registry from multiple facilities
• Maintain computerized records and ensure accurate record keeping

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Completion of an NCRA-Accredited Associate's Degree or equivalent
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) required within three years of hire
• Experience and/or training with computerized records
• Two semesters in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology required
